Amity University at Gwalior follows in the two decade long tradition of the Amity Education Group, founded by Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan with a vision to contribute to nation-building through education.
Today Amity has the unique recognition of being a center of excellence wherein 80,000 students are pursuing 240 programmes across 150+ institutions and campuses in UK, USA, Singapore and Mauritius.
The Amity name carries with it an unmistakable insignia of excellence. AUMP has started in Gwalior from Academic Session 2011-12 and Classes are going on. World-class leading companies across various disciplines come for campus placements at Amity. In technical courses, nearly all students are placed even one year before the completion of the course.
